How It Works
1. Register
On arrival, register for the auction and provide your ID and contact details. You will receive and sign an auction bid form.
2. Inspect the Units
We will show you the storage units available for auction. You can inspect the contents from the entrance of the unit.You cannot enter the unit, touch or remove items before submitting your bid.
3. Submit Your Sealed Bid
Complete the bid form with:
Your name and contact details, the unit number, your maximum bid and your signature confirming acceptance of the auction terms.
Place your completed bid in the designated sealed-bid box before the closing time.
4. Highest Bid Wins
Once bidding closes, uStore-it will open and review the bids.
The highest valid bid for each unit wins.
If two or more bidders submit the same highest bid, uStore-it may use a fair tie-break procedure.
Successful bidders will be contacted using the details provided on their registration form.
5. Pay & Collect
Successful bidders must pay the winning bid within the specified payment period.
Once payment has been received, the bidder can arrange to collect the contents.
All contents must be removed by the collection deadline provided by
uStore-it.

Auction Rules
Sold As Seen
Units are sold as seen. You are bidding on the entire contents of the unit, not individual items.
uStore-it does not guarantee the condition, functionality, authenticity, completeness or value of individual items.
Bid only what you are prepared to pay.
One Bid Per Unit
Unless otherwise announced, each bidder may submit one sealed bid for each unit.
Your bid is intended to be binding and cannot be withdrawn after submission, subject to applicable law.
No Returns
Successful purchases are final. Once you have paid and collected the contents, we do not accept returns because you are disappointed with the contents or their value, except where required by law.
Clear the Unit
The winning bidder is responsible for completely emptying the unit by the agreed collection deadline.
You are responsible for your own:
- Transport
- Labour
- Loading
- Disposal
- Cleaning
- Any associated removal costs
Restricted & Personal Items
Certain items may be removed from a unit before sale or may not be capable of being sold.
This can include personal identification documents, passports, sensitive personal records, illegal goods, dangerous materials and other items subject to legal restrictions.
If you discover personal or sensitive information belonging to another person, do not use, copy, photograph or publish it. Notify uStore-it immediately.
uStore-it’s Rights
uStore-it reserves the right to withdraw a unit, reject an invalid bid, cancel an auction or correct an obvious administrative error where reasonably necessary.
